A sampler of recent events at CBC includes Vacation Bible School, “All-Music” services, music concerts with local worship bands, “Upper-Room Passover Seder”, “Gravy-N-Biscuit” Workdays, and joint worship services with other area churches.
We have a full-size gym that is available to play basketball and volleyball, and horse shoe and washers pits. We are even planning a “Caps Baptist Drag Night” where we enjoy camaraderie and fellowship as we watch one of our members race! Our special activities are designed to enhance, not replace, our essential church services.
Our blended services strike an excellent balance – lively and refreshing, yet deeply practical and challenging. Contemporary music and preaching, alongside the “great hymns of the faith,” make for joyous and meaningful services.
MediaShout presentations on the Sanctuary screen and practical teaching methods are utilized in our worship services.
